Thanks for the great article. This family is one of my favorites. I have a few A. heterophyllas and want to try some others. I will see if I can get a Wollemia this summer from the Ironmongers. I haven't visited their nursery yet, but I talked with Susie once at a meeting. There is an Agathis on campus here at Cal Poly, SLO, that has suckers coming from the base of the trunk. Can I propagate these, you think? I have heard of A. heterophylla being done from tip cuttings. I have some suckers of coast redwood I'm rooting. They are about a year old now, and starting to grow.

or you can simply get an Agathis seedling- they are also for sale at some cycad sellers (notably the Sternbergs in Vista, just 10 minutes from the Ironmongers)
