Plant and Tree Identification: Agave ____?

Author Content Kraakbeen Wellington (South Africa) May 20, 2008 4:19 AM Post #4977257 This Agave is starting to flower now. It is sittuated in Dal Fouche Springs in Gauteng South Africa. I have known this plant since I can remember.(1979 about). This is the second time only that this plant shoots up like this since I can remember. Click the image for an enlarged view. The photo is very similar to A. parryi in A. Graf's "Tropica" and to A. parryi var. huachucensis in M.& G Irish's "Agaves, Yuccas, and Related Plants". I also think parryi because of the shape of the leaves but then then the size confuses me.
