Hello everyone!
I have a LOT of seedlings growing this year in the same place where I had planted impatiens last year. DH and I are currently engaged in a debate; one of us is insistent that these seedlings are impatiens, and the other is highly skeptical. The sad thing is, I actually grew some impatiens from seed last year, but for the life of me I can not recall what they looked like! I already talked with my local "hort line" and confirmed that it is entirely possible for impatiens seeds to overwinter here and germinate outdoors. I would greatly appreciate a positive identification on these little seedlings, whose numbers are in the thousands. Thanks in advance!
Allison
These look nothing like the impatiens seedlings I have growing in my yard. They sure look familiar though. I will look again in the morning. Maybe I'll be more clear-headed then.
