I was nudged again about not updating Storm's latest pics. Of course, I had to go out to the pasture today to get some - and he (they) were waiting for me...

So - he was born June 19th of last year, makes him nearly a yearling. I gotta say, he's a doll when he relates to people. Very curious and inquisitive, he wants to know who you are what's up as soon as you get near the pasture. A little shy of strangers, but not shy enough!

Physically, I *finally* had a vet out to pull Coggins and give vaccines for the spring. She seemed to think he was doing fine. His only physical problem is that hoof that was reflexed when he was born is definitely club foot. Farrier doesn't appear to be too worried about it, says other front foot is pretty upright, too, and that we'll do what we can to correct it with trimming. S'okay, wasn't gonna run him in the Derby or anything, anyway.

So here he is, with his buds - if I'm able to shoot a little video of him in the coming week or so, I'd love for you to see he and Lucas playing. It's almost constant and it's amazing that Lukes hasn't killed him yet - somehow I've been blessed with at least 2 geldings you could easily call babysitters (Lucas and Hank). Mac has a little less patience, lol.
