DD found a small (about the size of my palm - I have smallish hands) bird nest in one of our pine trees; she didn't recognize the bird. The nest has four tiny blue speckled eggs, and they look just like the malted candies you can get at Easter - probably even smaller.
I didn't get a real close look at it, but will try to do so tomorrow and get a photo, too. It seemed to be mostly dried grass and branch material from where I was standing, and the nesting area appeared to be about an inch and a half across - maybe less.
