While traveling from Illinois to Georgia last week, I was in awe of the interstate roadsides in Tenn. which had been planted with poppies and other flowers. Interstate driving can be rather boring but not in Tenn. The wind gently moved the huge drifts of red, pink, and white poppies. At a time when all we hear are government cost cuts, how wonderful that great state chose to provide such a visual treat to those moving through their country side. THANKS to whoever is in charge of that state program!
