We're putting in an outdoor shower and need advice on the base. We plan to make a cement base under the deck (shower is in and you stand on the deck) to gather the water and put in a pipe to direct the run-off. What will keep the water from going into the pipe and not between it and any crack between the pipe and the cement? With winters at 40 below zero, we need to make sure the cement won't heave or crack too. Anyone with experience? Also which bio soaps do you recommend. Water will go into our rock garden.
thanks betty
