Hi all, I am new to the forum and I need some questions answered. We are starting a small family farm. We already have the land and water and going through the F S A. for a farm operating loan. My problem is that I know nothing about crop ratios and production rates so I can estimate my crop production for the next year for the loan. I don't even know if I am on the right forum or if any one could lead me to the right direction.
Things differ from state to state, but the Agricultural Extension Office in PA would be able to help you if you were a PA resident. Check your phone book and see if you have the equivalent, even at a local level, to start with.
