Thankyou for your great article ...heavy clay here too but the Lasagne( no dig) gardening turns the soil to pure gold!

The term (no till) is also used here, but 'lasagna' seems more popular. As long as it works I don't care what name we give it, LOL.

Yes. No till gardening. No dig gardening is very common usage in the U.S.

I use this method everytime for new beds. Too much work digging up the lawn, LOL. I usually wait to plant the next season, but sometimes I'll plant after about a month and everything just thrives and grows like crazy.
