Have a 1/3 hp GE motor in the attic fan .
Some times it will not start, but with a little spin it works.
Is the motor bad or could it be the cap.

It could be the starting capacitor or lubrication on both the motor or the fan bearings.

Could also be that you have low voltage at the motor.
