I have several auctions listed. I realize that I can cancel the auctions at any time, but do they run out after a set amount of time?

I would prefer it if I could choose the length of time I want a particular auction to run, and wish there was a time limit.

Reason being ... When you post an auction, it just keeps getting buried by the newer postings. If auctions could run only for x amount of time, eventually your auctions would work their way back up to the top instead of just getting buried deeper and deeper.

Maybe I am missing something, but I can't find anything on this subject.

Edited to add that auctions would have to be listed by their ending date ... one's ending the soonest on top ... in order for my "work their way back up to the top" theory to work.

First, there are no auctions. These are products for sale at a fixed price.

There's also no time limit, although you can cancel a product and re-enable it. Don't worry about being on top, though, as that's just one area. Members can browse categories, search, etc, and we'll have even more browsing tools for them. So "when it was posted" becomes less and less relevant as we continue developing this feature.

Thanks Dave, I misspoke when I said "auction".

I know it's still in it's beginnings and envolving.
