This is my first year of going to the Farmer's Market in town. Because of all of our excessive rain and cool weather, I don't have much, but I do have a ton of beautiful green onions.

I have no idea how they should be prepared - do I cut off the roots and the tops? Do I just rinse them off and leave the roots? Do I put them on ice? I know, I sound pretty dumb here, but I just can't see in my mind how to make it look the best.

Thank you all for any suggestions!
