I posted earlier about my problem with freezer odor in the Magic Chef refrigerator-freezer I purchased last year to store my produce. It's pretty clear that the odor is resident in the appliance itself, probably owing to some kind of weird Chinese plastics. The odor passes through the freezer bags into the food - it clings to the freezer bags.
Magic Chef refuses to take any responsibility for this problem.
I think people might think twice about buying any products from a company with this attitude.
