This is my first time growing poppies... I bought some Drama Queen seed and threw it down in part of the garden. They really took off in the past couple of weeks and it looks like they should be thinned out a bit. How much space should I give them? Are there any tricks to transplanting them? I have read they can be tricky to transplant and I really want to keep as many of these alive since they are soooo pretty. What kind of fertilizers are recommended for poppies? Would a 20-20-20 be OK?
