I used to do this before, with over 200 seedlings a year but had forgotten how much fun it really is to do. Thank you for reminding me again how much fun this all really is.

Hope you get some keepers - I always hated the culling...

I have to confess that I haven't even culled that one real "dog" pictured in the article... this year, I will do a better job of marking who is where, so I can give away the peach ones that I don't want, and that ugly one is just getting pulled up when it blooms. It's hard to kill something you tried so hard to keep growing for several years! LOL

Critter, one year I planted so many seeds I had to beg people to take the seedlings, which I gave by clumps of 50 or 60. I think most people thought anything that came in that size couldn't be good. However, later I had people contact me and tell me how wonderful they were. Unfortunately, I didn't save any for myself because of lack of room.

I have seeds now, and I am going to start them. It will be so much fun to add them to my new property! I really can't wait.
Your instructions and the additional hints in the comments section are all I need to get started again.

A well illustrated, well structured, and informational article.
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and knowledge. I am sure you have inspired many already.

Lots of seeds and lots of room for the seedlings... oh, you are all set! I'm glad you liked the article. :-)
