Great Article and pics, too. When my life slows down a bit, I think I'll try this.

For mother's day, I bought some Daylilies as a gift. I bought the pot with the most in it, then seperated out a few of the roots for me. Hmmm...I added to my garden and the gift plant doesn't look as crowded. In fact, it looks better than before.

And that is how I grew some extra Daylilies. LOL.

When my brother moved, I divided the daylilies in his front bed. He ended up with loads of divisions to plant at his new house, and the nicely shaped clumps that I replanted at the old house actually looked better for having been divided. So I know just what you mean!
