I will be thinning my white strawberry bed and will have extra plants for trade in a couple of weeks. This is an alpine type berry on a vigorous plant that sends out prolific runners. Hardy zone 5. Good in baskets, but flowers nothing to write home about. Runners in baskets can hang down 5-6' or more. Fruit is white and has pineapplely hints to the taste. Birds don't bother them. Long fruiting season with some berries in the fall.
Looking for edibles hardy in zone 5 but will consider?
