Your article and photos are fantastic; I wish there were more succulents that are hardy, however. I wish we Northern gardeners could find 1/4 of what you've listed here at our garden centers. Alas, we are too cold and too damp. I did buy a package of mixed Semper vivum seed, winter sowed them, and they sprouted beautifully! They are out of the flat and into transition containers now. Fun, and you can't beat the price!
I have fallen in love with the hardy Prickily Pear; it multiplies like mad, even after being under snow all winter. Beware if you fall in love with it- don't hug or kiss it. OUCH!!!
