I am in desperate need of advice for my home in florida. I love dark green foliage, easy maintenance, with a burst of color here and there. Not looking to accomplish an out of this world garden but something that gives the home some curb appeal. I am getting sod delivered this friday so that part will be addressed. Any advice would be grealty appreciate it. Please keep in mind I am new at gardening and complicated care of a plant will be complete failure for me as I do not have a lot of time to spend with very delicate plants at least in the front yard.
I would like to have a front yard that would go well with my pond because that has become one of my favorite projects in the yard. This is your first view from the street. Property ends by the middle oak tree in the background. This is a very odd shaped lot.
In the background between the 2 oak trees there is a chain link fence, which I absolutely hate but right now there is no money to replace so instead I planted some pandora vine and hopefully it will cover up giving me a pretty green screen for that fence.
What would you add or change in order to make the front of the house more appealing?
