My mother had a rock garden in which she grew cacti and succulents. She was amazing that way. From there I have always had an interest in those two. I admit I have rotted a few succulents myself.
My daughter also happens to love cacti and succulents and she grows them in her apartment.
She has had a hard time with the succulents and I think a lot of it is not enough light and some exposure to too much rain and cold.
However, she is learning and she will not give up!
So thank you for the article because we are both in our infancy stage of growing these lovely plants.
