i have done pots before using kitchen tiles and grout
today i broke a plate and put the peices on a terracotta saucer using tile adhesive
i have spaces around the edges and up the sides to fill in and might use globs, beads etc (any ideas ?)
when i grout the plate do i use the same grout i use on my tile work? the plate is thinner --and what should i seal with--thanks for any help
Glass pebbles, as they are called, or glass beads are a great idea, also, you may use stained glass, or " Break another plate" that coordinates!! And, Yes! You use the same tile grout, an idea in, you can mix in acrylic paints with the grout to make it a color that looks good with you plate, and then you seal it with grout sealer which you find at your local hardware or home improvement center! Good luck and have fun! I'll bet it turns out great! Louella
