I've got a new customer, having troubles figuring out what to do after they purchase I guess.

They've purchased something under one name and 2 days later signed up on daves garden again under another name and purchased the same thing again. Said that they signed up before but the order didnt' go through, but indeed it did, I just canceled the first order and told her what to do. But she's not understanding . I don't even think she's getting my dmails I sent to her.

I haven't a clue as to how to help this lady. but how many times is she going to resign up and keep purchasing the same stuff?

LOL

what should I do to help her.

I can give you her garden names and maybe someone can help , but I don't think she's viewing her dmails from me so I don't think she'll get the help from others either.

Hi Kathy_Ann,

Can you use the "contact us" link to send me the details (her usernames, specifically) and I'll see what we can do to help get everything straightened out for her and you!

Yes, I'll do that, not sure how it will help her she's not answered a single one of my dmails. I know she's very confused.

Terry, your email to the buyer helped clear things up, they weren't aware that they were'nt going to get emails sent to their personal email address, so she couldn't figure out why I wasn't responding. But it's all fixed now.

Thanks for the help.

I'm glad someone posted this! I think I've got a similar situation. I've got a buyer I haven't heard back from that signed up the day of the purchase from me.

yep, I think thenewbies think their going to get notified by email since ebay does this. There's no way for us to contact them because we don't have their email address, and they do't know to check daves.

there has to be a way that we are given their email address incase this situation happens again. like make them include it with their address so we'll have it as well as theirname and address.

I think there used to be a feature (and maybe it still exists and I just never let dmail sit around long enough to find out) where if you had a dmail in your inbox for a certain period of time and hadn't looked at it yet, it would send a message to your regular email letting you know that you had a dmail waiting to be read. If that feature still exists, then these people should get an email after a few days telling them to check dmail. Or if the feature doesn't exist anymore, maybe it would be a good idea to reinstate it to help in situations like this?

Yes, I get it all the time, lol. I have a habit of reading dmails and then marking as unread and replying at a later time. I haven't figured out what the time period is, though!

The "unread dmail message" notification is still in place. After 48 hours, the unread message triggers an email alert to the recipient.

Kathy: I just have to laugh at this as I just heard the story today from your new customer. She's like...I didn't know what D-Mail was! hehe. I can see how new members and people who sign up just to buy could be totally confused. Glad everything worked out for you both though.

We laughed about it today! Funny thing is that she mentioned to me that she had ordered and was still waiting for an E-Mail and I didn't even catch on.

I gave a few of those bars away and actually will put another order in - I LOVE the soap. The scents are great and not overpowering or sickening sweet! Leaves your skin feeling really good. Thank-you.

I can't stand sickening sweet either, i'm very cautious when it comes to selecting the scents. only one I don't like at all and it's sweet is the love spell. and I'm low on it and will probably take it off the list of scents too.

LOL, Well, I spoke too soon I guess. it seems a little sweet to me, I only have a few bars left, it does sell good. I have a local customer that will buy a whole batch of lovespell at a time.

I'll not clear it out, so no worries. I do have to make more of it though .
