I can't say how many times I've wrecked my hands while removing oxalis from cacti & succulent beds & containers. They really have a way of running through the plants and rooting deep. Extra sand in the soil mix seems to make it easier for removal later.

Didn't realize it was such a pest in succulent containers. (Probably because I don't have any.) It is also a terrible pest among stepping stones. Thank you for a wonderful article!
