And I thought I was the only one to use large tweezers... LOL...
If the plant breaks off and it's real close to the cactus, I use an artist's paint brush with concentrate RoundUp to paint the top. Bye-bye oxalis...
I find the best control is killing the stuff well before it develops those seed pods. Sometimes just touching a mature seed pod results in it exploding and sending out next years crop to contend with...
Additionally, I try not to disturb the soil because that only plants seeds that are lying in-wait... I figure these nasty seeds likely can lay about for a few years and spring to life if given the opportunity.
