Hello!

I bought some musa sikkimensis seeds. It is going to be completely protected from the northern winds. Do I need to do anything else exept from heavy mulching in winter?

I don't grow bananas, but Plant Files lists it as hardy to zone 8a, and since you're in 7b that's not too much colder so I expect the protection your planning would be enough unless you have an extra cold winter.
