Am making guest quarters in a 400 sq ft room over a garage. The floors are inexpensive pine hardwood with some stains. I think I would like to paint the floor instead of staining it but have no idea where to start. I've read articles on "how-to" but need to know the pitfalls also. Has anyone done this who can help me?
