I have yellow lantana around an above ground pool. In the spring, it is beautiful and blooms abudantly. However, around mid June each year, the leaves start to turn a lighter shade and the blooms fall off. I've tried a pesticide spray, but with no luck. Any suggestions? I live in South Georgia, but the plant usually seems to take the heat well.
That's what I was thinking too...many plants aren't going to do well if pool water is splashing on them all the time. If you don't think that's it, can you post a picture?
My mom has a pool (above ground) and she uses a non chlorine additive its great, something like swim soft or something. I will ask her tomorrow what it is and post back. She has plants all around the pool and this "water" from the pool doesn't seem to hurt them. I will post back monday if you would like.
