I found this guy in my backyard today. He is bigger than a duck, but slightly smaller than a goose. (Sorry, I know absolutely nothing about birds, so this is descriptive as I can get.) I was very suprised to see him. I've never seen anything like him in our area.

He has since moved on to my neighbors yard. What kind of feed would I put out to lure him back?

Looks like a Pheasant...maybe a Ring-Necked?

Yep, Pheasant.

Any sort of grain or chicken feed will keep him (yes, it's a male) happy.
