well as you might imagine, this isnt going to be an uplifting post. some of you might know that i started getting into dls last summer and went kinda nuts, i have about 400 name dls now, and quite a few unknows or duplicates. i have always been interested in gardening, so have have quite a bit of other plants in my yard. here is the bad news. i rent the home that i live in, have rented there for about 2 1/2 yrs and had planned on staying for many years to come because i love the house, it is in a good neighborhood and my children love the house. yesterday, the rental lady came by and gave me a notice that i have 30 days to vacate the property because since my original lease expired over a year ago, i have been on a month to month lease. they have decided that they are going to raise the rent and i have been having difficulty paying as it is, so they want me out. i am a single mom of two, and had been doing fine until my ex decided to quite his job and stopped paying child support. this threw me into a financial strain and i had discussed this with the rental company. i have paid my rent every month, but it has been late the last few months. sorry to share all this with you, but it makes more sense if you know the facts.

i am incredibly sad, my children are devistated and there is nothing i can do about it. of course, my daughter asked, "what about your daylilies, mommy?". she is so kind and loving and knows how i love my flowers. so, i am facing trying to find someplace to live that is in a safe neighborhood, that i can afford. we also have 3 cats and 2 dogs and most places wont accept pets. then there is the problem of all my plants! i am planning on moving the raised beds and potting up and taking as many plants as possible. of course, it is really one of the worse times to be doing this due to the extreme heat.

i dont know why i felt the need to share with you guys, but i guess i figured you would understand how i feel. i havent stopped crying since yesterday and things seem pretty hopeless right now. i have asked for prayers from my friends and at church. i would appreciate any good thoughts for you guys. sorry to dump this on you, i hope you understand.
