Are we limited to one picture per listing?

On many of my items, I want to list another item after the first is sold. My listings show the actual plant being sold, so I want to update my picture when relisting. Is it possible to change the picture? Or, should I just cancel the sold item and start a new listing?

Also, is it possible to have two pictures? I would like to showcase a mature plant I am selling and feature the young plant being sold. Or, include a close-up of a leaf or a flower.

If this has been discussed already, I apologize. I could not locate any information in any of the other threads.

No limit. Post with wild abandon (within reason, of course ;-) .

I looked at it again and now I see the feature where you can add pictures. Thank you. I was looking for it in the edit mode.

Now, how do I remove the original photograph in order to relist an additional plant.

Is it possible to remove a picture...

Should I just cancel the original and start over when I am relisting the new plant?

I've not found a way to change the main photo. Perhaps doing a new ad may work best for you but is a bit of effort.

May I ask why you want to change the original? Does your ad state it is for the plant in the photo? If so, perhaps you could edit the ad.

I show the actual plant I'm selling and when I have another I was hoping I could just change out the picture rather than do the whole listing over. I realize now that's it's not an option. It's really not all that difficult to just start a new listing.

Thanks for your suggestions podster.

Cindy, you can go into the HTML editor and copy the entire listing. THEN create a new one. When you get there, go back to the HTML editor and paste your listing and then revise it. That way you don't have to do all of the formatting, etc. again. If you need more info, let me know. I'll be happy to help with it.

I use it all the time Cindy. Another thing that helps is having 2 windows open. It's easy to see what's happening that way and quickly correct anything that needs correcting.

I also use the HTML editor to duplicate info for things that I want to say in each of my listings. Like shipping info on the books. Get one like you like it and then you can keep a little HTML window open while you are listing new products. Just sneak over there and snag what you want, paste it and voila' your ads have consistency and it's much easier than forgetting something.

Kat made a suggestion in another thread about buyers coming back to DG after the sale rather than waiting on an email like they would get from ebay. Some of our buyers sign up on the day they buy and have no clue how things are done here. I will add that to one listing and then just copy from the HMTL Editor just that portion and add it to the bottom of all of my listings.

My dial up is so slow, I have had 3 windows open at the same time to work on my sales. I dont' like not being able to delete photos either, as some sales the plants are twic ethe size now and I'd like to put new photos in, but would have to redo the whole sale in order to do that. I do copy and paste alot too
