I bought a soft tan and blue paisley shell but got ink on it the first day I wore it. This is not ballpoint ink, but ink from a stamp pad. Can anyone tell me how to get it off?

I just saw your post, and although it may be too late, I thought I'd give you a suggestion. Any ink stains I deal with I use hair spray. Just spray it on the ink right before putting the garment into the washer. Make sure it is saturated, don't be shy, just spray liberally. I'm guessing the ink pad ink would be the same. Good luck.

wow, I heard that once, but forgot it. You're right it may be too late because I washed it using Spray and Wash to no avail. I'll try anyway though, with the hair spray. thanks

I agree - hairspray or rubbing alcohol.

One summer in high school I did some waitressing. I used to walk around with pens in the pockets of my white uniforms. Often, the bottoms of the pockets had all these ink dots where the points bled out on the fabric. My mom pre-soaked them in a little alcohol and the uniforms came out white all over again. Better do a pretest in on a facing or something 1st though to make sure it doesn't cause the color to bleed.

Saturate a paper towel & just keep pressing it on the spot & moving it once the ink bleeds onto the paper towel.
