Does anyone use an "eco-friendly" laundry detergent? Which is your favorite?

I use Purex "Natural Elements"...bought at Walmart. Leaves a clean scent, not fake.

I've seen people post in one of the other forums about soap nuts, those are totally natural and they say they work really well (I've never tried them myself) There's also a whole thread (actually several of them...it's so popular that it's been continued several times into new threads) in the Frugal Living forum about homemade laundry soaps, I bet you'll find lots of ideas there. Here's the current installment of the thread, but at the top of the current one there's a link back to the previous thread so you can read all of them if you want to http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/540316/

I use 7 th generation, HE and very concentrated. The perfume of it isn't for everybody, but I am sure they have fragrance free stuff. Before I had a new washer I used Mrs. Meyers, and although they say it's HE compatible, I daren't use it anymore with this spanking new machine. But before it worked really well.
