This year I planted a lot of different varieties only to have three storms pretty much blow off all of the blooms and then we have had the hottest June in record with temps topping 100 degrees on a regular basis. Although the plants have set a lot of new blooms, my understanding is that the pollen is not fertile and therefore I will not see tomatoes from these blooms. Usually in July I start my fall tomatoes. My question is that I have very large tomato plants with great root systems. Can I cut these back and have them produce for Fall? If so, how much do I cut back 4 and 5 foot plants? Thanks,
Annie
