I have planted moonflowers next to my front entry wall, which is actually a side of our garage that stretches at least ten to twelve feet. My husband ran fishing line up to the rain gutters and the moonflower vines are growing like mad! In the middle of the garden is a camellia, and I planted chartruse and dark red coleous underneath it all for accent colors. The stark, white moonflowers are about five inches across when open and have an absolutely wonderful gentle scent. Since they bloom only at night, they stand out in the dark and visitors do comment on their beauty and aroma. During the day, the dark green heart shaped leaves are gorgeous to see. Very easy to grow! And what a show!
