Three houses & many years ago I planted a "Zeffy" beside the gate to our swimming pool, on an ugly chainlink fence. It did get sun all day but it also was completely exposed to all the elements including winds blowing across the open fields - this in central Ontario (zone 4-5). It did just fine in a spot where I had been unable to get anything else to thrive & I certainly didn't pamper it. I must get another for this house. ...busylizzycat
