Hi,
I took photos of three birds today that I can't identify. It's a dark cloudy day, so the pictures aren't very good, but I hope you can help anyway. Here is the first one. Some kind of immature heron I think but which one?

Thanks!

There is a Little Blue Heron in the bottom right corner of this photo, but on the left toward the back under the weeping foliage, there is another heron. Can you tell what that heron is?

I'd crop these photos more, but there not very clear as they are. This one is especially terrible because I took it out of the window of my car. The car was air conditioned. I rolled down the window and stuck my camera out into the hot steamy air without realizing that the lens would fog over! Oh well. This is some kind of bird of prey.

Thank you! That's the first Great Blue that I've seen in a long time, and he was so well hidden back there that I just couldn't be sure. I was way off on the hawk! Thanks again.
