Some of those look oddly familiar. :-)

How did Miss Japan look after coming out of the box? I try to pack assuming that all boxes will be treated like that.

Fortunatelly she was at the other end of the box lol!

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

Really? She was tossed around then a lot then. I put about 6" of shred at the end with th ecaudex, knowing that's the end that will most likely land due to the weight. I put more at the top, as the branches are more fragile.

I've promised dave apacking video that I need to get busy on. You should see some of the tests we put boxes through, especially on plants we've never packed before. They're thrown, kicked, dropped, slammed, and then opened. Out of 2000+ boxes shipped per year, we never have more than a half dozen claims for damage.

I have some good ideas for the video, that should be a lot of fun.

Kool!
Out of about 400 boxes ive received only 4 or 5 were damaged
The post office doesnt refund or replace living plants so the insurance is a waste of $$
They killed a Hawaiian Palm on me and didnt care 1 bit.
That was one of the rarest plants in the world.

Malestrom, how many adeniums do you have? Show me yours and I will show you mine.
