My mom was visiting family out in Colorado and saw what she described as a woody shrub with giant white ball-shaped blooms all over it. She asked the shrub's owner what it was and she said it was called a "snowball." I assumed that she meant Snowball Bush and that it was some sort of viburnum, but I've showed my mom viburnums around our area and she insists they're not the shrub she saw. I showed her an Annabelle hydrangea and she said that wasn't it, either. She wants one of these shrubs, but I have no clue what it is!
Anyone know of a woody shrub with big white snowball blooms that grows in Colorado? I'm at a loss.
