I had to go away for three weeks, and when I got back I found my baby bamboo had gone from glossy green to scraggly white (see photo below). It was in a pot in direct Texas sun for those three weeks, and got watered by the sprinklers twice a day for 10 minutes each (the best I could do to keep things from dying while I was gone).

Is this too much water, or not enough? Perhaps too much sun? All I know for sure is that it's not happy.
