About 6 months ago, I saw a "new to me" pepper at our local grocery store - Chilaca.
It is a long skinny pepper with thin walls. It has all the flavor of the jalapeno with none of the heat.

So far I have not had any success getting the seeds to germinate, but I will keep trying.

Bubba,

Never heard of them, but keep us informed how you do as I would be interested in giving them a try.

I never find heat-free peppers at the markets. I do get the seeds on line tho.
