I just purchased a blue boy holly bush at Home Depot To pollinate my 2 blue girls I already have.
But I noticed in my research on the net that the male doesn't get berries yet the one I just bought has
green berries even though the tag and the pot label say Blue Boy. Can anyone give me some info on this.
THANKS!!!!

The tag is wrong, plain and simple. Maybe you can return it for a male (with no berries!).

I'll add that Home Depot is rather well known for mislabeling things, so you might consider looking elsewhere for your Blue Boy if you want to be sure you're getting what you think you're getting. But if HD has one labeled Blue Boy and it doesn't have berries maybe it's worth taking a chance.
