It seems as if every hose I buy starts to leak at the point where it connects to the wall spigot once they are no longer absolutely brand new. I have several outside water spigots -- this happens at each one, once the hose is no longer brand new, so I don't think the problem is the spigot -- or maybe it is? I know I can replace the "o" ring inside the hose, but that doesn't solve the problem. Should I cut the hoses and put on brand new connectors? Or will that be even worse than the original connector?
Do you have the same problem? Is there any way to avoid this? I hate the water loss, and the mud pie and run-off that developes underneath the spigots.
