I cheated; I cut it w/my Taurus ring saw; & I knew I'd never to able to fit it into the work; so i tack soldered it to the finished piece. I must have looked at that glass a million times before I just said "go for it" and started sawing away! Also I didn't even foil wrap the wings; just enough to hold it in place...I hope.
