I'd gladly let these wonderful plants take over my whole yard...but not my trees and flowers...LOL. I wonder if they over-winter well inside in pots?

I want to grow one of every kind you mentioned, esp that Choc Mint! LOL

I'd love to eat them every day and if you ask my why, I'll say,

'Cause minty wonders has a way with makin troubles go away!

Okay, so that's corny, it just popped in my head this instant.

Thanks for a great article!

LOL I love it!

I've tried overwintering mints on my windowsill, and they tend to go all straggly and sad looking... maybe they'd do better on a light shelf, or maybe it's just me. I keep my pots outside in the winter... is that an option for you, or is it too cold? I find I can protect potted plants pretty well if I put them up against my south facing foundation and pile mulch around the pots.

I can...but truth be told...I don't take care of them until after the first frost, or I'm out there at midnight thirty trying to make my plants nice and warm and comfy. I'm much too busy, I guess. Or maybe I'm a bit scatterbrained...LOL

LOL.. I've been out there late at night before temps drop below 20 degrees for the first time that winter, piling extra mulch and leaves around my pots... I can relate!
