Here is what I have I've planted and did not keep track of the name of this. It has a sweet smell almost like vanilla and I don't know if you can see the little tiny white flowers that are there. Any help would be appreciated!

I have never had one but have seen them on the web for sale but it isn't a vanilla orchid or another name for that is Vanilla Plantifolia plant? If the flowers aren't fully out and when they come out they are a yellowish white. And when the flower falls off then forms the long slender vanilla bean. Google Vanilla Plantifolia plant. They are tender and I don't know what zone they can withstand maybe Florida.

It reminds me a lot of Polianthes tuberosa. Could it be a relative? And could you post a clearer picture of the bloom?

Awesome! What a super cool plant! Maybe if it ever makes babies I could take one off your hands :) I'm sure I could find a reason to visit Charlotte.

I have 3 of them only 2 of them bloomed this year and only one last year. For such small flowers on the stalk they sure do give off a wonderful smell. I'd be glad to give you one!
