I have been looking for a yellow rugosa and I think 'Topaz Jewel' with a zone hardy to 4, will fit in nicely here in Maine . You know the long story of why yellow roses and I have a special courtship. I thank you for writing this piece and and pointing me to a yellow rugosa!!

    Thanks to both of you.

Pixie, I'm glad you found one you like that will (or should) work for you in your Maine garden. 'Topaz Jewel' is a lovely rose and I am leaning more and more toward the rugosas. No spraying, no deadheading.
