I have pears, lots of pears. I need some ideas and recipes for putting them up. I don't know the variety of pear trees we have. They have a firm flesh and honestly I don't like them in fresh pies, maybe if I canned a filling first it would have a better texture. Don't know, never canned these before. Would love hear any ideas and tips you have, thank you!
