There's a chipmunk living in my perennial garden. As cute as I think they are, I'm afraid he's going to eat things I'd rather he not eat. I'm already finding holes that he's dug in the garden up near the foundation of our house. I've seen him scampering around a lot. My stepson lit off some firecrackers near him in an attempt to scare him off, but he wasn't fazed.
What will this guy eat? I remember chipmunks stealing the bulbs from my grandmother's garden when I was a kid, so I worry about my tulips, crocuses and daffodils. Will they also eat plant roots?
