I'm planning on putting in a potted herb garden, in a similar form to this one in this picture , that has strawberry plants in it. Sorry the picture is so dark.
The pots i'll be using are huge though, either 4 or 5 alltogether, I think I have 5 of the l4 inch pots and the bottom pot is about l6 to l8 inches around, short and stocky sort of, it will be flat.
I am planning on making a purchase at companion pllants for a few things, I want to put in some curly chives for sure. thought that would be a neat center plant on one of the pots, and some creeping thymes that fall over the edges.
I also have these plants i'dlike to incorporate just because their newly purchased and I need to put them somewhere LOL
echinacea prairie frost
3 types of roman chamomile , double flowering, the regular roman chamomile and the ground cover roman chamomile
also have some blue curl Rue i'll be sticking in there.
This is not necessarily a culinary herb container garden, but rather just herbs in general that don't grow really tall. I need some ideas though.
before I make my purchase to get the rest of the plants.
thought i'd put the echinacea in the very bottom center and plant small stuff around it.
oh yeah, and I would love to have everything perennial so I don't have to pull it out in the fall .
