Is it ok to use potting soil that has mold on it? Our neighbors moved out and left a big bag. If it isn't a good idea for pots in the house, would it be all right to use it for ammending garden soil outside?

I'd put the dirt in a wheelbarrow and let the sun get at it for a while to dry it out and kill the mold.
